Shelley - Lead Vocalist

Shelley lead vocals Quite Brazen Devon wedding band

Shelley is a seasoned entertainer with experience spanning two decades. After early beginnings as a dancer, she went on to study performing arts, obtaining distinctions in vocal performance, acting and modern dance. Later on she was part of a lively 'Spice Girl' tribute act and was an iconic Butlins Redcoat in her late teens, working alongside many stars of stage & screen.

Shelley has graced the stages of some of the South West's most prestigeous theaters such as The Anson Rooms, The Bristol Hippodrome and The Bristol Old Vic. Her love of performing really shines through with her impressive vocal command of the band's vast repertoire of songs. Shelley has also appeared as a presenter on local radio and occasionally deps on vocals for other local bands.

Ian - Lead guitar & Keyboards

Ian, lead guitar Quite Brazen function band

A highly accomplished musician, Ian spent many years perfecting classical piano to grade 8 standard before seeing what Slash could do with a guitar and thought to himself, I fancy trying a bit of that! Starting out with original band 'Filer' who after some record company interest have written and recorded in Denmark's Puk Studios alongside the likes of Elton John, George Michael and Depeche Mode. Ian slept in the same bed as George Michael, although he wishes to add that it was not at the same time! Ian has performed on the same stages as Nirvana, Oasis and Starsailor to name but a few. A professional music producer, Ian is generally found writing and recording new material at our rehearsal and recording studio based in Exeter: www.brazensound.studio.

Craig - Bass & Backing Vocalist

Craig, Bass guitar Quite Brazen wedding band

Hailing from Birmingham. This Black Country boy has been playing and performing for many years - beginning as a new romantic, complete with frills and blue eyeshadow (a trendsetter of the highest calibre - its been suggested that he inspired Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran). He loves to really 'feel' the bass and plays with passion. Moat recently before joining Quite Brazen back in March of 2018, he was in a U2 tribute, playing professionally at large scale events.

Cal - Drums and percussion

Cal, Drummer for Quite Brazen devon function band

A Devon lad born and bred, Cal realised how much he loved music and wanted to be part of it when he was given a copy of 'Dookie' by Green Day, 'If you want blood you’ve got it' by AC/DC and 'Nevermind' by Nirvana on CD for his 8th birthday. Guitar lessons quickly followed and he saved every penny to buy his beloved Gibson SG. It didn’t take his Mum long to see his natural musical talent and his natural abilty to tap out a rhythm on any inanimate object in the vicinity. Cue drum lessons as well and his first drum kit. Fast forward a few years; with a love of all musical genres and the aptitude to play any style Cal counts Dave Grohl and Eddie Thrower as his biggest influences. He completed his degree in professional musicianship with Honours from BIMM in 2018.
