Quite Brazen were absolutely delighted to be asked by the Launceston Road Runners club to provide the entertainment for their annual awards ceremony.
Held at Lifton Farm Shop in its spacious 200 seater function room, with its gorgeous oak beams and modern feel. The red carpet was rolled out ready to welcome well dressed guests in black tie finery with a sneaky paparazzi photo and drink on arrival.
It wasn't long before the initial tentative foot tapping and discreet rump shaking turned into a full on dance off as willing participants pulled their friends onto the dance-floor to pull some shapes with us.
After all the exercise, it was time to refuel with a delicious premium spread of amazing locally produced food including locally reared beef and ham, home made coleslaw, fresh salad, freshly baked bread rolls and locally produced butter and a decadent clotted cream on the pud.
The awards ranged from performance of the year to most improved runner – it sounded exhausting just listening to the running times and marathon lengths! Up to these ultra fit runners, it made me feel rather lazy I have to say!
The night continued on with our second set taking the crowd through some high energy anthems and sing-a-longs complete with air guitar, booty bopping and plenty of fun. The photo booth accessories having made an appearance on the dance-floor where very short shorts and 118 shirts replaced glamorous dresses and wigs, crazy glasses and feather boas accentuated the smart dress of the fellas.
All in all, it was a fantastic evening and we had a great time. Thank you so much for choosing Quite Brazen to provide the entertainment for your function. It was an honour and pleasure to perform for such a great crowd of people.
