Yurt Camp Wedding Devon

We had a marvellous time celebrating the marriage of Lucy & Giles who chose to have their special day within the unique setting of Yurt Camp, Devon.
With its grand tipi tent towering over the beautiful woodland picnic benches and purpose built cafe area, surrounded by handsome trees – the overall feel of the day was natural, relaxed, organic and definitely full of love.
It was underneath a blanket of stars that the party truly came to life, with our swirling disco lights adding to the beauty of the night sky and forming the backdrop to what was an exceptionally fun filled al fresco evening.
Starting the proceedings with their first dance, 'Kiss Me' (Sixpence none the richer) performed by us – the bride and groom were absolutely lost in each other and then when everyone else joined in, such a lovely moment and a real privelege for us to be asked to provide the soundtrack to their day.
Playing two high energy sets of live music throughout the night, we were throughly entertained by the beautiful bride and groom and their guests. It was an absolute pleasure to be there with them all. The 500 miles dance will arguably have to go down in history as one of the BEST that I have ever seen and included the most energetic leg kicks from a fab young guest who definitely enjoyed herself (well done Amy!) we also have to mention a strange performance art dance that included some jelly snake sweets and all topped off with a bit of a dance off. All whilst singing at the top of their lungs. This was one heck of a party!
Congratulations to you both, we wish you lots of love and happiness for the future : )
